This Health Guarantee is provided to the Buyer as part of the purchase of the above-described puppy. The Seller warrants that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming (if required), and a veterinary health examination. A copy of the puppy's health record is provided to the Buyer.

1. Initial Health Guarantee (120 Hours)

The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 120 hours (5 days) of taking possession. If the veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit due to a condition existing at the time of sale (not including minor issues like parasites, which are common and treatable), the Buyer may return the puppy (at Buyer's expense) for a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement puppy of equal value (when available). Proof of examination and diagnosis must be provided in writing.

Failure to have this examination voids all further guarantees.

2. General Terms

This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer. The Seller reserves the right to a second veterinary opinion. Venue for any disputes shall be in Iredell County, North Carolina.

2. Genetic/Congenital Health Guarantee (2 Years)

The Seller provides a 2-year guarantee against life-threatening or severely debilitating congenital or hereditary defects (e.g., severe hip dysplasia, heart defects, progressive retinal atrophy, or other serious genetic conditions common in Poodles).

If such a condition is diagnosed by two licensed veterinarians (one chosen by Buyer, one by Seller if requested) before the puppy's second birthday:

• The Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter (Buyer responsible for any shipping/transport costs).

• OR, at the Seller's discretion, a refund of the purchase price (not to exceed the original purchase price and less any veterinary expenses previously reimbursed by the Seller).

To activate this guarantee:

• Buyer must notify Seller immediately upon diagnosis.

• Provide written veterinary reports, test results, and any required samples (e.g., for DNA confirmation).

• The puppy must have been spayed/neutered by 12 months of age (proof required; failure voids guarantee).

• The condition must not result from injury, neglect, abuse, improper diet, obesity, or environmental factors.

This guarantee is for pet/companion homes only and requires spay/neuter. It does not cover breeding rights.

3. Exclusions

This guarantee does not cover:

• Minor or cosmetic issues (e.g., umbilical hernias, undescended testicles if minor, coat/color changes, size variations).

• Common puppy issues (e.g., parasites like coccidia/giardia, kennel cough, allergies).

• Conditions caused by Buyer (e.g., accidents, over-vaccination, poor nutrition).

• Hip dysplasia rated mild or borderline.

• Any costs beyond the purchase price (e.g., vet bills, unless specifically agreed).

• Death or illness from preventable diseases if Buyer fails to follow recommended vaccination schedule.

No guarantee is made regarding temperament, exact adult size, coat type, fertility, or show/breeding potential.

4. Buyer Responsibilities to Maintain Guarantee

• Provide proper care, nutrition, vaccinations, and preventive health measures.

• Spay/neuter by 12 months (send proof to Seller).

• Notify Seller of any health concerns promptly.

• Do not breed the puppy (this voids all guarantees).
